3D Virtual Vocational Campus

“One of the most important things that I was taught by my mentors from the past was to pass the torch and mentor others in order to achieve progress in life.”

It all started when I was a senior in high school and a teacher by the name of Mr. Phillips had encouraged me to enter in the City of Los Angeles High School Drafting Contest. Mr. Phillips had seen something in me that was unknown to myself and I placed 3rd in the contest. The award, a two-year scholarship to Los Angeles Trade Technical College for Electro-Mechanical Drafting.

In those two years, I had two great instructors, Mr. Taylor and Mr. Murbach. Both, who had vital experience in the aerospace engineering industry that set the tone for professionalism and provided outstanding education along with critical real life experiences. Thus, I am a by-product of a 2 year Trade/Vocational College and a major advocate for Trade schools.

Now, I am returning the favor and will provide opportunities to those who do not wish to attend 4 year University but have the Passion P(Q) and Curiosity C(Q) traits to enhance their opportunities to become either a potential valuable employee for a company or to form their own company. Therefore, I am in the process of building a 3D Virtual Vocational Campus called “Enliteem”, where I will teach a course called “Tritical”.

This course will be available twice a year and for 5 students per course offering. It will cover: Agile Virtual Engineering (3D Design and Engineering), Social Engineering (Understanding the difference between Noise and Signal), and How to become self-funded (Investing/Reinvesting to fund your efforts). The reason for only 5 students per course offering is, I want to provide hands-on guidance and a more rewarding experience than your prototypical educational environments. There will be special guest speakers from Music, Engineering, Sports, and Financial Industries as well.

In the past, I’ve taught at a major University in Computer Science and Software Engineering Department (Cal Poly SLO), mentored engineering students at Minority Engineering Program (Cal State University Northridge), mentored hundreds of engineers while employed by the Military Industrial Complex and taught a handful of people back in 2012 in my own 3D Virtual prototype Campus on Tax Liens investing.

Stay tune for more information as I am targeting the month of June (2023) for the first course offering.
